Russian Scientists Find Third Generation of Hamsters Sterilized by GM Soy

The release of this new information provides yet another health risk, and confirmation on earlier problems related to fertility, birth weight of offspring, and infant mortality.

In this feeding study they used hamsters, an animal which has not been previously featured in GM safety studies.

One group of hamsters was fed a normal diet without any soy whatsoever, a second group was fed non-GMO soy, a third ate GM soy, and a fourth group ate an even higher amount of GM soy than the third.

Using the same genetically modified (GM) soy that is produced on over 90 percent of the soy acreage in the US, the hamsters and their offspring were fed their respective diets over a period of two years, during which time the researchers evaluated three generations of hamsters.

First they took five pairs of hamsters from each group, each of which produced about seven to eight litters each, totaling about 140 animals.

At first all went well, but serious problems became apparent when they selected new pairs from the offspring.

The first problem was that this second generation had a slower growth rate and reached their sexual maturity later than normal.

However, this second generation eventually generated another 39 litters:

• The no-soy control group had 52 pups
• The non-GM soy had 78
• The GM soy had only 40, of which 25 percent died 

So these second-generation GM soy-fed hamsters had a five-fold higher infant mortality rate, compared to the 5 percent normal death rate that was happening in the controls.

Nearly All of the Third-Generation GMO Babies Were Sterile!

But then an even bigger problem became apparent, because nearly all of the third generation hamsters lost the ability to have babies altogether.

Only a single third-generation female hamster gave birth to 16 pups, and of those, one fifth died.

In short, nearly the entire third generation of GM soy eaters were sterile!

But it doesn’t end there.

In the GM soy-fed groups they also found an unusually high prevalence of an otherwise extremely rare phenomenon – hair growing inside the animals’ mouths. (You can see the images here.)

Says Smith:

“… it’s a very rare phenomenon but he [study author, Dr. Surov] had never in his life seen more hair in mouths of hamsters than with these GM soy-fed, third generation hamsters.”

As you may know, genetically modified crops weren’t released until 1996, starting with GM soy, corn and cotton. Modified canola came about a year later.

Please remember humans have MUCH longer life spans than rats and that GMO foods were only introduced in 1996.  This is LESS than one generation.

So we’re still nowhere near seeing the full effects of these potential ramifications in humans, as we’re only about 15 years into it. But if the effects are anything like the effects on numerous types of animals, we could be looking at sterility on a grand scale as our great-grandchildren grow up and begin to try to procreate...

The fact that the US is completely unwilling to implement the precautionary principle with regards to GM foods is incomprehensible in light of the findings we already have from animal studies.

Additionally, some 800 genetically engineered food applications have been submitted to the USDA, but not one single environmental impact statement has been prepared. So not only are human health ramifications ignored, but the entire eco system is being jeopardized.

The Spermicide in Your Food!?
In 2001 scientists at the Epicyte bio-lab in San Diego created the ultimate GM crop—’contraceptive corn’—after researchers discovered a rare class of human antibodies that attack sperm. By isolating the genes that regulate the manufacture of these antibodies, and by putting them in corn plants, the company has created tiny horticultural factories that make contraceptives.
Announcing his success at a press conference, the president of Epicyte, Mitch Hein, pointing to his GMO corn plants and announced, “We have a hothouse filled with corn plants that make anti-sperm antibodies.”
Shortly after the 2001 Epicyte press release, all discussion of the breakthrough vanished. The company itself was taken over in 2004 by Biolex and nothing more was heard in any media about the development of spermicidal corn.

Research carried out in 2008 by the Austrian Ministries for Agriculture and Health fed mice 33% Monsanto GM corn (NK 603 x MON 810) and non-GM corn for 2 weeks. The mice fed on non-GM corn had normal babies, but te mice fed on NK 603 and MON810 had fewer babies, and those born were weaker.
Not that mice are any match for humans, but what does one think Hilary Clinton has in mind when she recently announced the new center piece for U.S. foreign policy, the Global Health Initiative, which just happens to be the same initiative that Bill Gates (who comes from a multibillionaire eugenicist) has been advancing via the U.N.! The Margaret Sangers birth control initiative to reduce the African-American population, has finally coem home to roost, or more accurately to the surface as many developing countries can testify.
Just from where will they ‘liberate’ U.S$63bn for their depopulation program – probably the same quarters that has been stealing from the common man in front of our very eyes.
Instead of using bacteria to grow human proteins, Epicyte used corn because plants have cellular structures that are similar to humans. At the time of the announcement in 2001, Epicyte planned to launch ‘clinical trials’
Mexico’s reaction was severe, given the history of abuse through the colonial takeover of Texas and Arizona turning Mexico in a U.S. backyard, and a source of work and industrial exploitation. Sivia Ribeiro, of ETC had the following to say against the then California-based Epicyte’s venture into corn as a spermicide:
“The potential of spermicidal corn as a biological weapon is outrageous, since it easily interbreeds with other varieties, is capable of going undetected and could lodge itself at the very core of indigenous and farming cultures. We have witnessed the execution of repeated sterilization campaigns performed against indigenous communities. This method is certainly much more difficult to trace.”
As the U.S. renews funding for ‘reproductive healthcare’ through the UN’s Population Fund, a eugenics organization from inception until today, what is actually toughted as ‘reproductive healthcare’ is forced abortions, and sterilization in order to reduce the world population in strategic areas where control by the elite through trade, natural resources, or geopolitics is compromised. However, beware, what was once relegated to ‘foreign policy’ has been happening within the terrain of developed nations through vaccien campaigns like HPV, encouraging promiscuity amongst the youth, ensuring marriage remains above the age of 18, yet increasing abortions without parental permission. And if all of that is not successful, at leat a few more disabilities and diseases will be the new consumers that will ensure the profit margin of the elite owning pharmaceutical companies.
Monsanto GM corn variety Mon 810 mentioned above was approved for human consumption in many countries including US, Europe, which has since then been proven to cause organ failure! Monsanto GM corn variety NK 603 under temporary import suspension by Russia. The recent French study by de Vendômois et al found there is more physiological disturbance in males than females with NK 603 all be they rats. The two centers of human detoxification malfunctioned i..e the liver and the kidneys for both genders, but also causing deterioration in the heart, adrenal, spleen and blood cells.
With a long history of birth control as a form of eugenics, the U.S. seems ready to depopulate the world. This comes at a time when an impending Euro-Arab summit on ‘terrorism’ is about to take place, but as we know the U.S. and the U.K. are the financiers and trainers of terrorist groups. They are not willing to submit to a people’s democracy as a result of the Arab-Spring, so in the name of ‘terrorism’ they are ‘facilitating consensus on the region. This huge operation also bear witness to U.S. air-bases amassing across Africa that according to the Washington Post can can record full-motion video, track infrared heat patterns (all life forms), and vacuum up radio and cellphone signals with scientists warning that geoengineering the weather over tropical or Arctic regions can disrupt African and Asian/Indian summer monsoons, threatening the food and water supply for billions of people!
Spermicide in our foods, population control for developing countries, amassing military control over Africa, particularly the North, and geoengineering the weather to affect a particular nation, and eyes on rights over the ocean between Egypt, Somalia and Yemen for oil, are they all separate issues, or paths that lead to the same destination?
